I wanted to show how far I’ve come this prep and to show that I don’t always have abs or look lean. #transformationtuesday Left pic: first day of my prep @ 21 weeks out / 150lbs Right pic: last weekend @ 5 weeks out / 140lbs As you can see there’s a huge difference between the two. All my muscle was underneath all the fat I’ve now lost through strict diet & exercise.. These changes didn’t happen over night it took me 17 weeks to get where I am now! I hate how I look in the left picture but that’s what real life looks like no one looks show ready year round.. Especially not me this girl loves FOOD too much to be a shred fest 24/7!!!! My advice to anyone with a goal whatever it may be things take time.. Don’t give up. Nothing happens over night. Ive beaten this topic to death but its still the number one question I get DMs about lol so here goes again… After anywhere from 6-9 days (on average) of following a low carb or no carb style diet your muscle glycogen(carbs stored in muscle) depletes and you will lose water inside the muscle. Resulting in an empty flat look (not necessarily a bad thing) but once glycogen is gone if you train that bodypart again you are breaking down your muscle tissue to fuel the workout and you’ll actually lose muscle faster (thats the bad part lol). Also after about 5 days low carb (mostly due to low calorie as well) your t4 (inactive thyroid) stops converting to t3(active thryroid) therefore slowing down your metabolism… When you cheat your thyroid ramps again for a few days until this happens again. Lastly LEPTIN leptin is a hormone that controls hunger and feelings of satiety. After a few days of low calories leptin levels drop which slows down your thyroid even more kills your energy levels and...

eBook update for those interested: Finally decided on a layout for the new eBook. Unimaginatively titled The Beltsander’s cookbook vol2 The layout will be broken down into high carb meals and desserts (perfect for post workout refuelling) and low carb meals and desserts (perfect for non training days) Of course all of the recipes should fit pretty much into anyone’s macros and nutritional goals but I feel this layout will work well for the majority of people who will pick up a copy. The layout will go as follows: 1. Low carb meals 2. Low carb desserts 3. High carb meals 4. High carb desserts 5. Side dishes 6. Take on the takeaway This book is also a lot bigger than the last.
