FESTIVALS AND FITNESS – So as I am going to the festival Tomorrowland next week I thought I would put up this quick post. – Now by all means Im not saying do all of these heck you might not do any but these are just a couple of things that can reduce the effects of over consuming at a festival. – Fasting in the morning is a good way to reduce your calorie intake over the course of a day. If you have a late night before most of you will be in bed till late morning anyway! – Drinking water throughout the day and night will help to reduce hunger but also mean that you will stay hydrated. Added bonus will be less of a hangover – Now when it comes to meals most festivals offer a variety of foods to try. Choose something which you will enjoy but keep in mind that sticking to protein and veg is the best option. – If like me you enjoy a beverage or two at a festival sticking to clear spirits and low calorie mixers e.g. gin and slimline tonic will reduce the amount of calories consumed. – Move….pretty straightforward! Walk around go to different stages and dance like no one is watching – Lastly something which I sometimes do! Try and resist the urge to eat just because it is there.
