Welcome back @fitchristen for a #featurefollowup! Today is my ONE YEAR KETOVERSARY!! Can not believe that I have been on this journey for a year now and I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. Starting Keto went against everything I was taught about nutrition but after trying everything else and feeling hopeless I said its worth the risk. Keto has help me overcome so much this past year from sugar addiction binge eating constant food thoughts and cravings and most importantly depression. Keto took me from the obese BMI category to normal and from an obese body fat percentage to the athletic range. My blood panels at the doctor are perfect in every category. My blood pressure borders on the low end vs high my cholesterol is great. My blood sugar levels are amazing. My resting heart rate went from 100 to 60..I no longer take naps or crash mid day..I have an exorbitant amount of energy and strength and cant imagine ever going back to a life controlled by food! . . My Top 5 Keto Tips: . 1. Stay consistent. Keto is not a diet you can cheat on often and expect it to work! . 2. Calories matter. Just like any other diet if you overeat you will gain weight. Track your food intake! . 3. Get your electrolytes in! I love sodium chloride tablets so I dont have to drink broth or sole water. . 4. Keep it clean. Nutrients matter not just macros. Make sure you are getting in plenty of fibrous green vegetables and fruit where you can fit it in. . 5.
