Dear Diary So we already know that Violet has a problem with food . I dont even know why am laughing at this yet its a problem smh. So i devised a way to curb that food weakness. RUN!!! In addition to my normal daily workouts I have to run a mile for every dollar I spend on food… cheat day or otherwise. DAMN! well yeah. I have to learn the hard way right… besides more workouts is good for me aye? I can get my steps in step bet and knockout my runs Runbet Sitohang and also lose weight DietBet EVERYONE WINS! Yes people I do eat these foods from time to time but I do it based on on my goals and try to plan my “cheats meals” for certain times or days. People always say they are having a “cheat meal” but do you really know what that means…? It’s not every other day or you have been good for 2 days then you just indulge in whatever. When one is on a strict diet regime they occasionally will have a meal that allows for them to eat things that are not apart of the prescribed diet. These are designed to prevent your body from entering a starvation mode where it will hold onto stored body fat for when times get tough. So by increasing calories up to maintenance every week or two should prevent this and keep your weight loss on track. So if you have been really strict with your macros and have stuck to your plan for a period of time I would suggest try to go 12-14 days straight before trying to have “cheat ...

First of all Carbs they are in all the good stuff; biscuits breads chocolate sweetscereal etc… so they taste bloody nice! Secondly glucose is our body’s preferred source of energy; especially for the brain that’s why we get a bit cranky and light headed if we dont have our carbs… so there is just two reasons to eat carbohydrates “So why do people cut them out and lose weight?” Because we usually eat too much of them (along with dietary fats) which can put us into a calorie surplus and cause weight gain. If we cut them out we lower our calories and lose weight because of the calorie reduction… not because of the carbs. “So I Need to cut carbs to lose weight?” No you need to cut your caloric intake! So day ZERO. Here I am. Thousands of miles from where I started! But change has been a constant part or my life. 100 days ago I started on a challenge. My aim was to get to 100 but I finally managed 90% of my goal. I am extremely unhappy about the last two weeks. I went totally off my fitness and diet routine. My life was totally turned around. Overall though I was quite happy about the first 2 months and how I was able to stay on target. So here I am. I didn’t achieve my weight loss oe fitness goals. In fact I only got to 50% of my target. Which means I have a lot of hard work in the coming months. In a way that’s good. It gives me another goal to set. Lol. And I need to continue to focus on my health. But I’m definitely shifting my workouts indoor now. I can’t quite manage the cold. And walking or running in the dark is not one of my favorite activities. Thanks for following my journey. Damn! Back to just over 3 weeks ago when I had fell off the wagon big time Was doing packs of Lotus Biscoff UK Speculoos biscuits like they were nothing! was eating them like bowls of cereal I swear I did a whole pack and a half with a litre of milk for a snack and it clocked in @2000 calories Damn speculoos is like crack to me haha it all was a result of a cheat day… Cheat days always seem to do so much damage to me and I don’t mean physically I mean mentally. Putting massive emphasis on food for enjoyment restricting the following day- thus restricting ‘enjoyment’ losing all momentum that was built which is personally my biggest tool for staying on track AND all this combined made getting the ball rolling again massively difficult. I’ve learned a lot and now I’ve got my head strong I don’t plan on ever having cheat days again unless for a video challenge . I’ll still eat good food eat out but I won’t go over my calories and if I do I’ll have done the necessary cardio to compensate....

Morning bath because my body effing hurts and coffee because I need it. I overslept this morning gosh Im lazy. Theres no excuse besides I absolutely did not want to get out of bed. On a happier note almost 4 weeks into my new meal plan and Ive kept myself in check. Sometimes its hard. Like when someone brings doughnuts to work but Ive done well and not touched them. Im not going to lie Im a little afraid to have a cheat day. I know how I am. If I allow it to happen I tend to go overboard and then it carries into my weeks after. I dont want to screw up. We shall see what happens. This bath isnt helping my soreness and I gotta get out. Lets talk food. _______________ Everyone has such variations of diets as in some people cook every day – fresh – and others maybe eat out/eat in every night others mix it up between the two ( Im one of those ). My diet isnt terrible but isnt excellent either although over the past few weeks I definitely havent eaten as much rubbish as normally which is surprising since its been Christmas and New Year. __ I majorly suffer with severe IBS the joys. It is not fun let me tell you. Growing up in the Middle East for the majority of my teen years I had a very rich diet. I love rich food anything with sauces cream butter; Im there. but I suffer the consequences ( tasty food is worth it though ) __ I wanted to try and cut out some dairy though to see if it helped I mean I know it will just taking the plunge is scary. Having all the cheese and then it going away I dont know how much willpower I have for that. However baby steps and maybe I can cut out a few things every month and see how I get...
